Sizes found through a Superbuy spreadsheet can use different regional labels, seller conventions, or factory specifications. A familiar letter or number does not guarantee familiar dimensions. Treat each listing as its own sizing system.
Create a personal measurement baseline
Choose a similar garment or pair of shoes that fits the way you want. Lay clothing flat without stretching it. Record the same points used by the seller: pit-to-pit width, back length, shoulder width, sleeve length, waist, rise, inseam, or leg opening. For shoes, consider foot length and the internal or insole measurement when that information is reliable.
Read the chart carefully
Determine whether a garment measurement is flat width or full circumference. A 22-inch flat chest width usually represents roughly a 44-inch circumference, but the measurement method and fabric still matter. Confirm whether the chart uses centimeters or inches and whether shoe numbers follow EU, US, UK, or a seller-specific scale.
Do not use a generic conversion chart when the product page provides its own measurements. Even within the same category on our Superbuy spreadsheet homepage, two listings labeled XL can fit differently.
Allow for wearing ease and material
Body measurements and garment measurements are not interchangeable. Clothing needs additional room depending on the intended silhouette. A fitted T-shirt, oversized hoodie, structured jacket, and loose pant each require a different amount of ease. Stretch fabric can forgive small differences; rigid woven fabric usually cannot.
Shoes need more than a label
Foot length, width, sock thickness, toe shape, and intended use all affect fit. Measure both feet late in the day and use the larger measurement. Compare with the listing’s internal-length guidance if provided, and check whether the seller recommends adding a specific allowance. Do not assume that every EU 43 has the same internal dimensions.
Expect reasonable variation
Seller charts sometimes state a measurement tolerance. Hand measurement methods and production variation can explain small differences. Decide in advance which measurement is critical. A minor sleeve difference may be acceptable while a narrow shoulder or short insole may not be.
Verify at the warehouse
If a dimension determines whether the item will work, review or request a clear measurement image before shipping. The tape should be straight, visible, and placed at the correct points. Follow our Superbuy QC photo checklist for the rest of the visual review.
Once fit and condition are confirmed, use the shipping guide and order checklist to prepare the next step.
